Voorwaarts Juli – GRATIS

Eerste zondag van juli, wandelen! Ga je mee? Iedereen is welkom.
Waar: Westduinen (en strand). Wanneer: 6 juli 2014.
Vertrek 12:00 vanaf Markenseplein, keerlus tramlijn 12, Duindorp.
Duur: 2 ~2½ uur. We lopen in rustig tempo door de prachtig bloeiende duinen en nemen ook een stukje strand mee. Hier en daar zal ik een verhaaltje vertellen over de plaatselijke natuur en cultuur. Aan het einde is er mogelijkheid om ons te verfrissen bij een strandpaviljoen.
Neem eventueel zwemspullen mee.

Kosten: Helemaal GRATIS, of wat u het waard vindt.

Walking plus Canal Tour

Walk, talk, canal tour. Today I enjoyed guiding an international group from the Global Research Alliance and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, in English of course. The weather was fine, the audience was great, the compliments well recieved. It always is a great pleasure to be able to tour a group with keen eyes and willing ears.
After the 90 minute walk around a William of Orange theme featuring the Act of Redemption, Rutte’s Turret (Torentje van Rutte), The Royal working Palace Noordeinde and Binnenhof, the Inner Court with its Hall of Knights mixed with several haphazard interludes the group embarked on another 90 minutes canal tour with Willemsvaart and skipper guide Chris Schram.
Wandelen en Varen – Walking plus canal tour. Quite a good way to spend the afternoon.
